1. Overview

LinkedApply Pro is a privacy-first Chrome browser extension that assists job seekers in automating and streamlining job applications on LinkedIn. This policy details our commitment to data transparency, local data storage, and zero-telemetry operations.

2. Zero Remote Server Storage

LinkedApply Pro does not operate remote servers to store, collect, or monitor your personal data.

All data entered into the extension — including your contact details, resume text, application preferences, API keys, and job application history — is stored exclusively on your device using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local).

3. Data Stored Locally On Your Device

• Profile Information: Name, contact email, phone number, address, and headline.
• Application Preferences: Screening answers, years of experience, notice period, and salary expectations (LPA).
• Resume Data: Extracted plain text from your uploaded PDF resume.
• Job History: Status of jobs applied, skipped, or failed during your automation sessions.
• API Keys (BYOK): Your personal API keys (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Groq, DeepSeek).

4. AI Service Providers (Bring Your Own Key)

When you enable AI features (such as screening question answering, resume tailoring, or job match scoring), requests are made directly from your browser to your selected AI provider using your own API key:

Your API keys and prompt data are sent directly via encrypted HTTPS to the provider and never pass through any intermediary proxy servers.

5. LinkedIn Interactions

The extension interacts strictly within your active LinkedIn browser tab to read job listings, detect application forms, and fill in responses based on your configured preferences. It does not access, store, or transmit your LinkedIn login credentials or passwords.

6. Data Deletion & Control

You maintain full control over your data at all times:

• You can clear your job application history at any time from Settings → Account → Clear Job History.
• You can purge all stored extension data with Reset Extension.
• Uninstalling the extension instantly and permanently deletes all local storage from your browser.

7. Permissions & Disclosures
